The final results of our fundraising campaign are finally out and we want to share them with you!
Despite the fact that our Sonic team competed vs our KFC team, we as Emerge! fought together for the same cause! We raised money for Autism Speaks, a cause dear to our heart.
Did you know that early intervention can improve learning, communication and social skills, as well as underlying brain development? Many children affected by autism also benefit from other interventions such as speech and occupational therapy. Developmental regression, or loss of skills, such as language and social interests, affects around 1 in 5 children who will go on to be diagnosed with autism and typically occurs between the ages of 1 and 3.

The money we raised will help research and develop programs that will help everyone understand Autism and those with this condition. Everyone should have the opportunity to live a normal, happy life. By donating to such a great cause, we can help make progress in research for the treatment and/or cure of Autism. With knowledge and therapy, Autistic children/adults and their families can create their “normal” and live happily. We are proud to be able to make this difference in our community!
The competition has plenty of rewards for the best fundraising team, including incentives for the Area Coaches. The top fundraising stores and the RGMs engaged in health competition among themselves and helped boost the competition to raise more funds for this important objective.
During the campaign we were able to raise $17,550 in 2018 and $35,269.68 in 2019! Congratulations to Sonic for earning the Top Brand Title! This year Emerge as a whole gained the most for Autism Speaks than any other donor! We hope this achievement will help encourage other companies to increase their donations and boost fundraising efforts for the organization.
