With a total of 44 Sonic stores, its brand partner history with Emerge dates back to 2017, a relationship based on an equal and genuine interest in fostering our employee’s leadership skills and growth. In 2021, a new Sonic was built in Pasadena, Texas, and 16 new Sonic’s were purchased in Houston and Galveston Area.

GROWTH IN WORTH

Sonic is known for its drive-in concept and extensive and creative menu. The company operates over 3,500 restaurants in 46 states and is one of the largest fast-food chains in the United States. Emerge spotted Sonic's intent to re-franchise some of its company-owned locations, which resulted in increased sales for the company. Sonic has sold over 100 stores in Texas, Florida, and Kansas to new operators, with a focus on areas where franchised locations had outperformed company-owned restaurants.
